Leadership
Rector
The Rev'd Warren Hicks (@padrewarren) is the 9th rector of St. Luke's and comes to Worcester via Colorado and seminary in Texas. He loves Jesus, birding, his wife Mary, son Jonathan, golf, baseball, technology, and reading.
Deacon
The Rev'd Jane Griesbach serves at St. Luke's at the Bishop's pleasure. She, like all deacons, helps to interpret the needs of the world to us as a community of faith. Jane has a passion for world mission and lives with husband Don and two dogs.
Senior Warden
Dan Arnold serves as Senior Warden at St. Luke’s. His role is advice and counsel to the Rector and chairs the Vestry in the Rector’s absence. He is the lay leader of the congregation’s structure and polity. Dan is married and the father of three young children and enjoys good French bread more than almost anyone.
Junior Warden
John Ferriss serves as Junior Warden at St. Luke’s. He is responsible for oversight of the physical plant and grounds. John is the father of three grown children and a lifelong Episcopalian.
Clerk of the Vestry
Alice Valentine is another long time member of St. Luke's who serves as clerk. In addition to recording minutes of meetings and monitoring communication between the Diocese and the Vestry she serves on the Executive team. Alice teaches Japanese language and culture at Clark University in Worcester
Treasurer
Rick Kimball has served at St. Luke's in many different capacities. Rick is now serving as Treasurer of the Parish. His interests include, opera, travel, gardening (especially Hostas). Rick also serves in a number of liturgical capacities as Lay Reader and Worship Leader.
